Installing and updating the Android SDK

To install and update the Android SDK, follow these steps:

Download and install the latest version of Android Studio from the official website: https://developer.android.com/studio

Launch Android Studio and click on “Configure” in the welcome screen.

Select “SDK Manager” from the dropdown menu.

In the SDK Manager, select the “SDK Platforms” tab to install or update the Android operating system versions that you want to target with your app.

In the SDK Manager, select the “SDK Tools” tab to install or update the individual tools and utilities that are part of the Android SDK, such as the Android Emulator, Android SDK Platform-Tools, and Android SDK Build-Tools.

Click on “Apply” to install or update the selected components. Once the SDK is installed, you can start creating your Android app in Android Studio by creating a new project and selecting the SDK version that you want to target.
