Types of Training
There are different types of training that can be used by a trainer to involve an employee. These types are used in all the steps of a training process. The various types of training are given below. Most HR managers use some of these types of training to build an efficient employee.
Technical or Technology Training
Technical training provided to teach the employees the technological traits of the job. It is performed in-house, but can also be directed externally, depending on the type of job.
Quality Training
Quality training is important for a production-concentrated business. It refers to familiarizing employees with preventing, detecting, and eliminating non-quality items that produce a product in an organization. This type of training provides employees with the knowledge of recognizing the products that do not have good quality. This is very helpful in a world where quality is given the utmost priority.
Skills Training
Skill training includes abilities that are needed to perform the job. In this type of training, you learn the things you actually need to know to perform your job correctly. It is given in-house and needs a trainer to supervise.
Professional Training and Legal Training
Professional training needs to be up to date in one’s own professional field. This type of training should be given regularly. Some of the other types of legal training include sexual harassment training and discrimination training.
Managerial Training
After spending a long time with an organization an employee is identified as a candidate for promotion. When this occurs, managerial training happens. The topic that is included in this type of training is soft skills section. Some forms of managerial training can be performed in-house. On the other hand training, such as leadership skills, might be performed externally.
