The Deming Prize
The name of the Deming Prize was after Dr. W Edwards Deming in 1951. Moreover, the administration was done by the Japanese Union of Scientists and Engineers (JUSE) and follows the requirements of the PDCA cycle.
Assessment criteria are,
- Firstly, company policy and planning,
- Then, organisation,
- After that, quality control education,
- Quality information handling,
- Then analysis, standardization and so on. etc
Categories of the Prize
To get it to understand, in the period 1951 to 1984, a number of categories were created under which this award was given. These are,
- Firstly, for Individuals.
- Then for large and small organizations.
- Small organizations.
- For company divisions.
- Lastly for Non-Japanese companies.
Criteria of the Deming Prize
