Creating a Single Stock Group

From this, you can create a single stock group in the following manner.

• Gateway of Tally – Inventory Info – Single Stock Group – Create
• Enter the name of the Group
• Select the group under which this group will be classified

Know this:

1. Alias : short name or another name
2. Under : default group under this group all the sub-group will be defined
3. Can Quantities of item be added : will help you to define stock items in this group

Any modification such as name, change of parent group is possible here.

Displaying a stock Group

Deleting a single Stock Group

Gateway of Tally – Inventory Info – Single Stock – Alter.

For deleting a group from the list the key combination is Alt + D. Please note that the group should be empty, which means that no stock item is under the group

Creating a Multiple Stock Group

Gateway of Tally – Inventory info – Multiple Stock Group – Create

1. Select / create the group (for creation press ALT + C)
2. Enter the name of the groups
