Mode Of Registration
Under section 4 of the Act, mode of registration provides that any seven or more than members of a Trade Union. May by subscribing their names to the rules of the Trade Union. Also, by otherwise complying with the provisions of this Act with respect to registration, apply for registration of the Trade Union.
However, unless 10 per cent or one hundred of the workmen engaging in the establishment or industry. On the date of the making of the application for registration. With which it is connected are the members of such Trade Union. No trade union workmen shall be registered till then.
Application for registration
The section 5 of the Act, every application for registration of a Trade Union. And shall be made to the Registrar stipulates this Act. And also, shall be accompanied by a copy of the rules of the Trade Union and a statement of the particulars following:
- the names, occupations and address of the members making application;
- the members of the Trade Union making the application, in the case of a Trade Union of workmen, the names, occupations and addresses of the place of work of;
- the name and address of the Trade Union and its head office; and
- Office-bearers of the Trade Union’s titles, names, ages, addresses and occupations.
Before the making of an application for its registration, where a Trade Union has been in existence for more than one year. Therefore shall deliver to the Registrar, together with the application. Also, a general statement of the assets and liabilities of the Trade Union. Prepared in such form and containing such particulars in a prescribed manner.
