Employers to furnish information and returns
Under section 5 of the Act, employers to furnish information and returns in the prescribed form. It stipulates that the employer in every establishment in public sector in that State or area shall furnish such information. Also, return in relation to vacancies that have occurred as may be prescribed or are about to occur in that establishment. To such employment exchanges in a prescribed manner.
By notification in the Official Gazette, the appropriate Government may require that from such date. Therefore, the employer in every establishment pertaining to any class or category of establishments. In private sector or every establishment in the private sector. Also, in relation to vacancies that have occurred or are about to occur in that establishment, shall furnish such information or return as may be prescribed to such employment exchanges as may be prescribed.
The right of access to records or documents
The Section 6 of the Act empowers such officer of Government as may be prescribed in this behalf. Or also any person authorised by him in writing on his behalf shall have access to any relevant record or document. In the possession of any employer required to furnish any information or returns under section 5 of the Act. Thus, may enter to any premises at any reasonable time where he believes such record or document to be an inspection or take copies of relevant records. Or also documents or ask any question necessary for obtaining any required information.
