This feature is used in Word to create a large dropped initial capital letter for a paragraph (e.g. in Newspapers, magazines). This feature can be used by Selecting the paragraph or leave the cursor within the paragraph in which you wish to apply dropped capital letter. The Steps include selecting the Format menu from the toolbar and choosing the Drop Cap option. Note that this feature is only applicable only if the paragraph contains text.
There are two Font style for the dropped capital letter namely Dropped or In Margin option. The user must specify the number of lines he want to drop and the amount of space between dropped letter and standard text so that the Dropped letter is not overlapping the normal text of the paragraph you can set some distance between dropped letter and the standard text.
