Constraints in Containerisation
Dealing with container loading problems is termed as the constraints in the containerization, the container loading plays a pivotal function for the efficiency of supply chain operations. While underperformance leads to unnecessary costs i.e. the cost of the additional shipping container and also the unsatisfactory customer i.e. the violation of the deadlines set by the clients. Although there is not much attention paid to the constraints faced during the containerization in the practice, these problems are faced frequently in the operation research literature.
