Apply Animation Schemes
Animation schemes are pre-built sets of animations that can be applied to your PowerPoint presentation to make it more visually interesting and engaging. Here are the steps to apply an animation scheme:
- Open your presentation: To get started, open the PowerPoint presentation that you want to add animation to.
- Select the slide: Click on the slide that you want to add animation to. You can apply animation to individual objects or to the entire slide.
- Choose an animation scheme: Click on the “Animations” tab in the PowerPoint ribbon. From there, click on “Add Animation” and select “Animation Schemes.” A drop-down menu will appear, showing you a variety of pre-built animation schemes. Hover your cursor over each scheme to see a preview of what it will look like.
- Apply the animation scheme: Once you’ve chosen an animation scheme, click on it to apply it to the selected slide. You can also customize the animation scheme by clicking on “Effect Options” and adjusting the settings as needed.
- Preview the animation: To see how the animation scheme looks, click on the “Preview” button in the “Animations” tab. This will show you a preview of the animation on the selected slide.
- Apply animation to other slides: If you want to apply the same animation scheme to other slides in your presentation, select the slides and click on the “Animation Painter” button in the “Animations” tab. This will copy the animation scheme from the selected slide and apply it to the other slides.
In summary, applying animation schemes in Microsoft PowerPoint is a great way to add visual interest and engagement to your presentation. With just a few clicks, you can choose a pre-built animation scheme and apply it to your slides, or customize the settings to create your own unique animation effects.
