Selection is the process of staffing the right type of candidates for various positions in the organization. Selection involves rejecting unfit applicants and offering employment to suitable candidates only.

Process of Selection

There are various stages of selection which a candidate needs to cross before actually getting hired. If a candidate is found incompetent and not suitable at any stage then they are not considered for further stages. Following are the steps involved in the process of selection

• Physical application and screening
• Interviews
• Reference checks
• Physical examination
• Appointment letter
• Final selection
