Managing and Delivering Presentations
Microsoft PowerPoint provides several ways to manage and deliver presentations. Here are some ways to manage and deliver your PowerPoint presentation:
Presenter View: Presenter View allows you to see the current slide, your speaker notes, and the upcoming slide, all while your audience sees only the current slide. To access Presenter View, click on the Slide Show tab and then click on “Presenter View.”
Slide Show options: In the Slide Show tab, you can customize various options, such as the type of pointer used, the slide transition, and the timings of the slides.
Rehearse Timings: Rehearse Timings allows you to practice your presentation and record the timings of each slide. This is useful if you need to give a timed presentation or if you want to ensure that your presentation runs smoothly. To access Rehearse Timings, click on the Slide Show tab and then click on “Rehearse Timings.”
Record a Slide Show: PowerPoint allows you to record your presentation, including your voice and any annotations you make on the slides. This is useful if you need to share your presentation with people who cannot attend the live presentation. To access Record a Slide Show, click on the Slide Show tab and then click on “Record Slide Show.”
Package for CD: If you need to share your presentation with others, you can package it for CD. This will create a copy of your presentation along with any linked files, such as audio and video files. To access Package for CD, click on the File tab and then click on “Export.”
Save as a video: You can also save your presentation as a video file. This is useful if you want to share your presentation on a platform that does not support PowerPoint, such as YouTube. To access Save as a video, click on the File tab and then click on “Export.”
Present online: PowerPoint allows you to present your slides online using Microsoft Teams or Skype for Business. This is useful if you need to present to people who are not in the same location as you. To access Present online, click on the Slide Show tab and then click on “Present Online.”
