Compare and Merge Presentations
Microsoft PowerPoint provides an easy way to compare and merge two presentations. Here’s how to do it:
Open the presentations: Open the two presentations that you want to compare and merge.
Enable Compare: Go to the Review tab and click on “Compare” in the Compare group.
Select the original and revised presentations: In the Compare Presentations dialog box, select the original presentation (the one you opened first) as the “Original presentation” and the revised presentation (the one you opened second) as the “Revised presentation.”
Choose the options: In the Compare Presentations dialog box, select the options you want, such as whether to compare only selected slides or to include hidden slides.
Start comparing: Click “OK” to start the comparison. PowerPoint will open a new presentation that shows the changes between the two presentations. The changes are highlighted in different colors, and you can review them slide by slide.
Merge the changes: To merge the changes into one presentation, go through the presentation slide by slide and manually make the changes in the original presentation. You can also use the Accept and Reject buttons on the Review tab to incorporate or reject changes automatically.
Save the merged presentation: Once you have reviewed and merged all the changes, save the merged presentation with a new name.
Note: You can also use third-party add-ins to compare and merge PowerPoint presentations.
