The objective of any telesales call is to take the conversation to a positive result. The nature of this result varies depending on what to achieve during that call. In a sales call, the objective is to get the customer’s agreement for making the purchase whereas, a lead generation call has the objective of setting up a meeting with a sales representative and similarly a lead qualification call has the objective of finding out things about the customer that are relevant to the sales processes.
The purposes of calls may vary, but the common point of every type of telesales campaign is that the salesperson has to persuade somebody of something.
