About the job:
- Role: VP, Model Development (People Manager Role)
- Location: Fully Remote
- Budget: Up to 36-38 LPA
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team to build predictive models using techniques like logistic regression, decision trees, Random Forest, and XGBoost.
- Supervise model development, documentation, validation, and testing for multiple projects.
- Ensure model compliance with regulatory requirements and manage model risk.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and drive the use of advanced methodologies like NLP and Generative AI models.
Required Skills:
- 6+ years of hands-on analytics experience (SQL, SAS, Python/R).
- 3+ years of people management experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Experience with (Pyspark, Hive) and predictive platforms (H2O, AWS SageMaker).
- Knowledge of US credit card or retail business preferred.
