About The Job:
- Role: Risk and Fraud Analyst
- Location: Chennai
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Understanding the business model of the merchants and identifying the risks associated with it.
- Evaluate the creditworthiness of businesses/ individuals by analyzing the financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant data.
- Monitor and manage the performance of existing portfolios to identify potential risks and take proactive measures.
- Prepare comprehensive risk assessment reports and present findings to management.
- Monitor transactions and activities to identify and investigate suspicious behavior indicative of fraud.
- Analyze large datasets to detect patterns and anomalies that may suggest fraudulent activities.
- Manage fraud cases from detection through resolution, including documentation and reporting.
- Provide detailed reports on fraud trends and case outcomes to management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field.
- Willingness to work in night shifts.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong ethical judgment and integrity in handling sensitive information.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
