Job Description
About The Job:
- Role: Credit Manager
- Location: Chennai
- Experience: Purpose Implement financial procedures in the areas of Recording, Documentation, Financial reporting, and other finance-related areas to support smooth business operations in Central Processing Units in VFI. Train and mentoring hub staff for superior performance
Responsibilities:
- Communicate/follow up on any issues related to the system, receipts or loan files with relevant HODs.
- Coordinate monthly Hub meetings with CEO / COO and ROMs
- Manage overall day-to-day hub operations effectively
- Identify the performance gap of hub staff and support to train hub staff and mentoring 30%
- Ensure the smooth functioning of the HUB
- Submit performance appraisal on time
- Ensure all hub staff are trained properly and perform effectively
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities:
- Education and Experience
- Graduate/Post Graduate in any discipline (Preferably in Development sector or Finance)
- Good understanding on business development, assessing markets and product viability, credit disbursements and repayments
- Knowledge and understanding on maintaining quality portfolio
- Knowledge and practice on Microfinance sector
- Knowledge and understanding on SHG/JLG and its functioning
- Experience in people management
- Ability to organize and present financial information according to VFI formats
