About The Job:

  • Role: Power BI Developer
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years
  • Notice Period: Immediate to 30 days

Skills:

  • A Power BI Developer with 3-5 years of strong hands-on experience, responsible for leading a team of developers in designing, developing, implementing, and refactoring Power BI solutions.
  • Ability to analyze business requirements, create data models, and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI tools. Should be able to refactor existing reports and migrate them to work with Delta Lake.
  • Should be able to guide team members and support in all stages of the development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Set up testing strategies to ensure that the delivered reporting solution is correct.
  • Design and develop data models and help with ETL process specifications to support Power BI solutions.
  • Optimize and troubleshoot performance issues in Power BI reports and dashboards.
  • Implement data security measures and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
  • Mentor and train junior developers on Power BI best practices and development techniques.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and business analysts, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of Power BI solutions after refactoring.
  • Participate in project planning, estimation, and resource allocation activities.
  • Have strong communication and leadership skills, responsible for driving the development process.
  • It is good to have experience in migrating a large number of reports from one backend platform to another
  • It is good to have experience working with Databricks, Crystal reports, and SAP BO.
