Roles and responsibilities:
- Mortgage servicing: Process and credit payments accurately and on time. Build relationships with customers and be a key point of contact for resolving problems.
- Mortgage loan processor: Collect documents that support the mortgage application, including bank statements, employment verifications, credit reports, and property appraisals.
- Mortgage originator: Develop relationships with individuals in the real estate industry, such as agents or building contractors.
- Mortgage loan officer: Help qualified borrowers successfully obtain mortgages. Educate customers on mortgage rules and regulations, interest rates.
