Staff Selection commission (SSC) invites application for the posts of Junior Engineer in All India.

Interested candidates for the post of Junior Engineer are required to suit to the following criteria:

Age: The age of the candidates applying for the position of Junior Engineer:-

Should be 32 years for Central water commission and CPWD.
Should not less than 18 ears and should not more than 27 years for department of Post.
Should be 30 years for MES.

Qualification: The candidates applying for the position of Junior Engineer should have Diploma in Civil / electrical / Mechanical engineering from a recognized university or institute.

Pay Scale: Candidates selected for the given post should expect a pay scale of Rs. 9300 – 34800/- Per Month.

Total no. of Posts: The number of posts available with SSC for the post of Junior Engineer is 1000.

Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable for the following specified categories to the extent indicated below.
i) By 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST communities.
ii) By 3 years for candidates belonging to OBC communities.
iii) By 10 years for candidates belonging to PH communities.

Fees structure: Candidates ii) By 3 years for candidates belonging to OBC communities are required to pay application fee Rs 100/- b means of “Central recruitment fee stamps (CRFS) or candidates should pay the requisite fee online through net-banking / credits card or debit card or cash through SBI bank Challan. Women candidates and candidates belonging to SC / ST and EXSM eligible for reservation are exempted from paying fee.

Selection criteria: Candidates will be short listed on the basis of their written Examination and Physical standard test (PST) / Physically efficiency Test (PET).

Following is the application procedure: Interested and eligible candidates may apply online through SSC website http://ssconline.nic.in/mainmenu2.php from 11th July 2015 to 7^th August 2015 (part I) and up to 10^thAugust 2015 for (Part II) or candidates may also send prescribed application form relevant regional Centre of SSC as per official notification on or before 10^th August 2015.
