Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) invites application for the posts of Assistant Commandant (Veterinary) in All India.

Interested candidates for the post of Assistant Commandant (Veterinary) are required to suit to the following criteria:

Age: The age of the candidates applying for the position of Assistant Commandant (Veterinary) should not less than 23 years and should not more than 35 years as on 31^st August 2015.

Qualification: The candidates applying for the position of Assistant Commandant (Veterinary) should be in possession of a Bachelor degree in Veterinary science and animal husbandry or equivalent from a recognized university with registration in the veterinary council of India.

Pay Scale: Candidates selected for the given post should expect a pay scale of Rs. 15600 – 39100/- Per Month

Total no. of Posts: The number of posts available with SSB for the post of Assistant Commandant (Veterinary) is 08

Selection criteria: Candidates will be short listed on the basis of their written Examination / Medical test / Physical Fitness and Personal Interview.

Note: Candidates applying for the position of Assistant Commandant (Veterinary) not in possession of requisite education qualification certificate or appearing in the examination / awaiting result / not in possession of certificate of registration from the veterinary council of India need not apply.

Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable for the following specified categories to the extent indicated below.
i) By 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST communities.
ii) By 3 years for candidates belonging to OBC communities.
iii) By 5 years to candidates who have originally been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period from 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989.

Application Fee: Candidates applying for the position of Assistant Commandant (Veterinary) are required to pay application fee Rs 50/- for General / OBC category candidates through Bank Demand Draft n favor of PAO. SSB. MHA New Delhi payable at SBI, R.K Puram, New Delhi (Branch code 01076). NO fee for SC / ST and Female candidates.

Following is the application procedure: Interested and eligible candidates may apply in prescribed application form along with certified true copy of education qualification, 2 identical passport size photograph duly attested by Gazette Officer, one should be posted on application form and other on Admit card / 2 send-addressed envelope Rs 25/- and demand draft sent to Inspector General (Pers), Force HQR, SSB, East Block-V, R.K Puram, New Delhi on or before 31^st August 2015.
