We can define Hero in various ways. For girls, their father is the prime example of a Hero. For Kids, Comic Characters are the prime example of a hero even though the characters are unreal but still Kids love them as if they are part of their integral life.
But if anyone asks me the definition of Hero, I would say The Hero or Hero is that person who does not compromise his integrity, with his principles and works really hard even if the situation is against him.
He will try to maintain his dignity, with his principles even in the hardest and the most brutal conditions one faces in his life. For Example The Great Mahabharata Warrior Karna didn’t compromise with his integrity, with his principles and sided with Duryodhana despite knowing the fact that the Pandavas were his own brothers, his own flesh and blood. He felt that even though Duryodhana is a symbol of evil, he cannot leave Duryodhana as it will be against his principles and even if he has to die, he will die for that cause.
Another prime example which we can find from day to day life is of Mr. P.V.Sahay who sells Puppets in the streets of Connaught Place. He had invested all his life’s income in his son’s education and hoped that his son will take care of him in his old age. But few years ago his son died in a horrific accident leaving his old father, mother and a married sister behind. Mr. P.V.Sahay was broken but even at the age of 77 he didn’t compromise with his integrity and didn’t ask anyone for financial help. Instead he himself comes to Delhi From Rohtak everyday via Train in order to sell puppets in order to support his family and works really hard for it. Although his income might not be enough but for him it gives him satisfaction as he didn’t had to compromise with his integrity.
Same is the story of Mrs. Shilpi Ghosh who lost her only son in a fatal car accident. Even at the age of 83 didn’t compromise with her integrity, her principles and even though she had an easier alternative to ask someone for money. She sells chips everyday in the evening so that she can support her family without the help of others.
At the end I would like to conclude that Heroes are not born, they are made and those who does not compromise with their integrity, their principles and are not afraid of working really hard and eat and breath for others is truly a
REAL HERO
