Age Limit:-The age of the candidate should not be less than 18 years and should not be more than 26 years.
Qualification:- Candidate should have passed 10th standard examination or its equivalent.
State Hockey Qualification:-Candidate should have represented the state in a National event or the district in a state-level with distinction or his University event with distinction or should have been a member of the combined Universities Team.
Selection Procedure:- Selection will be on the basis of Sports performance / field trails and interview. Merely satisfying the eligibility norms does not entitle a candidate to be called for selection. Only short-listed candidates will be called for field trails. On the basis of performance in the field trails, candidates will be further shortlisted for Interview for final selection.
Age Relaxation:- The upper age limit is relaxable for the following specified categories to the extent indicated below.
i) By 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST communities.
ii) By 3 years for candidates belonging to OBC communities.
iii) By 3 years for candidates belonging to children / family members those who died in the 1984 riots.
iv) By 5 years to candidates who have originally been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period from 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989.
Application Fee:-Candidates are required to pay application fee Rs 300/- by cash voucher in any branch of Punjab National Bank (PNB).
