Karnataka Forest department (Government of Karnataka) invites application for the posts of Deputy Range Forest Officer, Forest Guard and Forest watcher in Karnataka.

Interested candidates for the post of Deputy Range Forest Officer are required to suit to the following criteria:

Age: The age of the candidate should not less than 18 years and should not more than 25 years as on 3^rd July 2015.

Qualification: The candidate should have bachelor Degree with at least one of the subjects namely Animal husbandry and veterinary science / Botany / Chemistry / Geology / Mathematics / Physics / Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor degree in Agriculture or forestry or Engineering of a recognized university or equivalent.

Pay Scale: Candidates selected for the given post should expect a pay scale of Rs 12500 – 24000/- Per Month.

Total no. of Posts: The number of posts available for the post of Deputy Range Forest Officer is 50.

Interested candidates for the post of Forest Guard are required to suit to the following criteria:

Age: The age of the candidate should not less than 18 years and should not more than 27 years as on 3^rd July 2015.

Qualification: Candidate should have passed II PUC or possess equivalent qualification

Pay Scale: Candidates selected for the given post should expect a pay scale of Rs 11600 – 21000/- Per Month.

Total no. of Posts: The number of posts available for the post of Forest Guard is 50.

Interested candidates for the post of Forest Watcher are required to suit to the following criteria:

Age: The age of the candidate should not less than 18 years and should not more than 30 years as on 3^rd July 2015.

Qualification: Candidate should have passed SSLC standard on the date of notification.

Pay Scale: Candidates selected for the given post should expect a pay scale of Rs 960000 – 14550/- Per Month

Total no. of Posts: The number of posts available for the post of Forest Watcher is 25.

Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable for the following specified categories to the extent indicated below.
i) By 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST communities.
ii) By 3 years for candidates belonging to OBC communities.

 Fee Structure: Candidates are required to pay application fee Rs 100/- plus service charges Rs 12/- for General and IIA / IIB / IIIA / IIIB category and Rs 50/- plus service charge Rs 12/- for SC / ST / CAT – I) through online.

Following is the application procedure: Interested and eligible candidates may apply online through official website www.aranya.gov.in from 20^th July 2015 to 19^th August 2015.
