Indian Air force Recruitment 2015

Indian Air force invites application for the posts of Commissioned Officer in All India.

 

Interested candidates for the post of Commissioned Officer are required to suit to the following criteria

For Technical Branch:-

Age Limit:- The age of the candidate should not less than 20 years and should not more than 24 years as on 1st July 2015.

  • No. 200/16F/SSC/M (Short Service commission for men)
  • No. 200/16F/SSC/W (Short Service commission for women)

Qualification: Candidate should have undergone a minimum of four year degree qualification from a recognized university or cleared sections A and B examination of Associate membership of institute of Engineers (India) or aeronautical Society of India or Graduate membership examination of the institute of electronics and telecommunication engineers by actual studies.

For Flying Branch:-

Qualification:- Candidate should have Graduation (minimum three year degree course) in any discipline from a recognized university who have attained minimum 60% marks in aggregate an all papers put together and have passed Math and physics at +2 level OR BE / B.Tech. degree )Four year course) from a recognized university with minimum 60% marks in aggregate an all papers put together.

  • No. 200/16F/SSC/W (Short Service commission for women)

  • No. 199/16T/SSC/M (Short Service commission for men)
  • No. 199/16T/SSC/W (Short Service commission for women)

For Ground Duty Branch:-

Qualification:- Candidate should have Graduation (minimum three year degree course) in any discipline from a recognized university who have attained minimum 60% marks in aggregate an all papers put together or a post-graduation degree / equivalent diploma in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of all papers put together or Graduate degree in commerce (B.Com) (minimum three year degree course) with a minimum 60% marks in aggregate of all papers put together or Post-graduate degree in commerce (M.Com.) / CA / ICWA with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of all papers put together or Post-Graduate degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of all papers put together.

Age Limit:- The age of the candidate should not less than 20 years and should not more than 26 years as on 1st July 2015.

  • No. 199/16g/PC/M (Permanent commission for men)
  • No. 199/16G/SSC/M (Short Service commission for men)
  • No. 199/16G/SSC/W (Short Service commission for women)

 

 

Selection criteria: Candidates will be short listed on the basis of their Air force common admission Test (AFCAT) and engineering knowledge Test (EKT) (applicable only for candidates applying for technical branch).

Following is the application procedure: Interested and eligible candidates may apply online through official website www.careerairindia.nic from 27th June 2015 to 23rd July 2015.
