“Are you lost or are you incomplete,
Do you feel like a puzzle, you cant find your missing piece?”
Every now and then, each one of us swims in a cesspool of emotions. While some of us drown in it, the others struggle to swim to the surface.
You come across a million things a day yet you are unable to relate to a single one of them. Why is it so?
The crux of it lies in the fact that there comes a point in life where most of us are unable to figure out who we are. We lose touch of our inner self, what are our identity really is.
According to psychologists, this feeling of emptiness can occur across any age group. Children are unaware of what really happens beyond the playground and they do not yet have a stable sense of identity. So When they are exposed to a difficult situation, it tends to have more of an impact on them as opposed to an adult. However at the same time this paucity of knowledge gives them the advantage of being more resilient.
On the other hand, quite often adults will face a personal crisis; they become uncertain of who they are or remain upset about incidents that occured ages ago. According to studies What triggers this state can often be traced back to interpersonal conflicts the person had to endure during their childhood.
So what does one do in such situations? Well the priority should be to not slip into depression, as seen in several cases. The symptoms of depression include change in sleep patterns, abnormal diets, rebellious behaviour, loss of pleasure in interesting activities etc
So if you notice someone going through a similar situation then please be next to them whenever the need you. Give them ample time to open up and hopfully confide in you. Cconstantly motivate to explore and find new activities of interest. Remind them of their achievements and what a great person they were and are capable of being.
Best part being, its only a phase to wait for it to pass, everything will get back to normal again!

I genuinely loved the last points
To count your blessings and achievements , not to be stressed with failures or stuggles that one really goes through in life.
Although, You could have listed down few more points on how one should deal with failures and depression like reading inspirational stories , getting engaged in some activity or the other etc.
