HRIS (HUMAN RESOURCE INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY)
As it is always said the only work for HR is to fill the excel sheets but let me tell you there is one “GENIE” for HR peoples which is called as HRIS. HRIS is nothing but intersection of human resources and information technology through HR software. This allows HR activities and processes to occur electronically.
Not many companies have the HRIS system but believe me it can do magic u just need to fill the proper DATA and it is done everything like payroll,performance,statistical graph of the performance can be drawn in one stroke.Even sanctioning of the leaves.Let me tell you ,Well if your organization has an HRIS and u need to apply for an vacation then you don’t have to worry about HR just open HRIS fill in the details wait for the approval and its done , isn’t its interesting!!!
However now-a-days many company are looking forward for this system,as it is very helpful for overall company’s growth and achieving the goals of the company,It keeps track on everything right from the basic information to performance of the employees ,which in turn help to understand lacking areas which needs more training and development of the employees,
Well not all will understand the importance of this but HRM (Human resource management) and HRP (Human resource planning|) peoples will definitely do , as their ultimate goal is nothing but “INCREASING PRODUCTIVITY AND PROFIT”
