Employees are an important part for an organisation. They are not robots who work round the clock in an organisation , can say they are the heart and soul or the backbone of the organisation on with which the firm stand up tall.
Apart from Professional work , there are some points that we should keep in mind if your running an organisation. These activities will increase the productivity of the workers ,there by creating a team ! no “Super team.
So what is an Employee wellness program
An employee wellness program, also called a βworksite wellness programβ, is a program that promotes and supports the health, safety, and well-being of its employees.
so why develop an employee wellness program ?
- Supporting and motivating staff to make healthy life style choices.
- The program improves staffs health, morale and productivity
Employee wellness can be implemented in order to the given bellow steps .
- In this program, your employee are the top most priority . The gap between employee and the employer should be reduced .
Like in this way , go and ask your employee that “what do you need ” and helping them finding the solution . This creation is usually met by conducting regular survey not only of the employee but also with the employers. - Based upon the survey done as explained above, analysis of the data take place and then proper strategy is made to solve the problem . Mostly team building exercise are made or setting up yoga classes, mediation and all , making them relax ,there by increasing the work efficiency .
- No organisation can work with out an effective communication . So Employment wellness can also be implemented to create a communication plan .
- Set some reward for the work completed. Like reward the employee who work overtime in order to drive long-term engagement.
- Notify employees of the program through emails , posters etc
- Implement and evaluate the program .
Employee wellness programs are effective tools that benefit both the employee and employer within a corporation. Implementing these programs correctly will bring about significant positive change within your organization.
