Cabinet Secretariat New Delhi invites application for the posts of Interpreter.

Interested candidates for the post of Interpreter are required to suit to the following criteria:

Age: The age of the candidates applying for the position of Interpreter should be 30 years as on 30^th August 2015.

Qualification: The candidates applying for the position of Interpreter should have Bachelor degree in the concerned language from a recognized university or institution or a degree with Diploma in the concerned language from a recognized university or institution.

Pay Scale: Candidates selected for the given post should expect a pay scale of Rs. 9300 – 34800/- Per Month.

Total no. of Posts: The number of posts available with Cabinet Secretariat New Delhi for the post of Interpreter is 20.

Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable for the following specified categories to the extent indicated below.
i) By 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST communities.
ii) By 3 years for candidates belonging to OBC communities.
iii) By 5 years to candidates who have originally been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period from 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989.

Experience: Candidates applying for the position of Interpreter should have high degree of proficiency in English with competence to translate from the concerned language into English and Vice-versa.
