Will Explain all the version one by one :
1. ANDROID BETA:
The very first version of android for the world was android beta,
then where is the alphabetical order?
Where is A for apple??
I thought the same but android A or say android alpha was not launched in market, it was just developed and used only under google, why?
Obviously if I am going start a new project or I am going to develop something new I would face some challenges also would make some mistakes and so did they. Then android A went under development and finally came up with a new face called android beta which was released on November 5 2007, a week before the launch of android SDK.
And so android celebrate its birthday on November 5, and its birthday gift is your happiness.
FEATURES BETA:
Android beta had every basic features that we have now in newer versions like wi-fi ,bluetooth, Gmail ,maps, google search, g talk and all, a unique feature in it was a market of our own which is now commonly known as Playstore now a days.
2. ANDROID CUPCAKE:
First android version had many bugs in its API(application programming interface) level and so was more developed. Then Android developed more into “beta” and came up with a new android with a new API called Android cupcake,in which we found some new features like installing 3rd party keyboards, on-screen Widgets, uploading on YouTube and Picasa, copying and pasting, auto rotation, video recording, boot animation and other animations.
