A GLIMPSE OF LIFE!

Now having written a few articles, I’d like the readers to have something different! So, here I come up with a piece ‘Self-composed’  that illustrates how life is one of the strangest paths to travel; from immense joy to tearful nights, from success to bowing down, from being the best to being criticized; it makes you go through all! At some point of time, we all have experienced it, yet we are here today and this only fact, that we get up, steady ourselves and raise our head is what makes an individual a strong person; a SURVIVOR in his own eyes…

Towards the end, I do as I say

and if it really doesn’t work,

I’m strong enough to stay!!

I portray as if I don’t care

No matter how the world is unfair

‘coz even if I’m not the best

I still am better than the rest…

No doubt you’ll criticize me

Still I say,”you are no one to define me…”

I know the time is running far

yet there is a place to reach beyond the stars..

Molestation…separation…

Rejection and frustration…

There is a lot more than this in my life

I have goals to achieve and I need to strive!!

True that you seem to be strong,

Yet even I’m not wrong…

My conscience tells me what to do,

I don’t need words, I know how to prove…

I can see it’s not the end,

You just try to oppress and offend…

I’m smart enough, I can fight…

‘coz I’ll never let you out of my sight…

There’s a lot more that’s going on..

Sometimes a wave; sometimes a storm…

Yet my expressions know how to conceal…

You’ll never get to know what I feel…

A thousand silent words…

A hundred beautiful smiles…

Some expressions to guess; a gesture

Some thoughts conveyed by my eyes…

I’m not backing out; I don’t fear…

and don’t try to stop me; don’ even dare!!

I’m not perfect; I may make mistakes,

Still there are reasons why I don’t hesitate…

There are no true reasons to cry,

I’ll better open my eyes and fly high…

There are a thousand ways and I’ll choose,

No matter what, I won’t let myself lose…

And it’s just the beginning…

I’ve just started to walk…

There is a long way to go,

with each second knocking by the clock!!
