A recent study by a global recruitment firm confirms that almost 69% of workforce in the emerging markets of Asia-Pacific is on a look-out to enhance their skills for further career progression when compared to their global peers Europe (59%) and America (55%).
A significant number of Indian employees are actively pursuing higher education to enhance their chances of promotion with their present employee rather than shifting to a new employee or starting a new business.

India is a labour intensive country. So there is competition to get employed. Thats why skill upgradation is given.
