Age Limit:- The age of the candidate for the post of Lab technician should be less than 30 years as on 1^stDecember 2014.

Qualification:- Candidate should have first class Bachelor degree in clinical Lab technology or life science with Diploma / certificate course in clinical Lab technology or equivalent degree from a recognized university.

Selection Procedure:- Selection will be on the base of the merit list basis preliminary screening will be done and qualified candidates will be called for personal interview at Dr. ALM Post-Graduate institute of Basic medical science, Chennai. Selection will be purely based on merit list as per the DHR guidelines. Interview call letters will be sent only by email.

Age Relaxation:- The upper age limit is relaxable for the following specified categories to the extent indicated below.
i) By 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST communities.
ii) By 5 years for candidates belonging to OBC communities.
iii) By 5 years for candidates belonging to PWD communities.

Experience:- Candidate should have minimum 1 year experience in a clinical / research laboratory.

Desirable:- Masters in clinical lab technology from a recognized university / B.Sc. MLT / DMLT with 4 year experience in laboratory work and field work (Preferably in molecular biology / microbiology and immunohistrochemistry) / knowledge of computer application / date management.
