Age Limit:-The age of the candidate for the post of Insurance Medical officer should not be less than 21 years and should not be more than 38 years as on 1st January 2015.
Qualification:-Candidate should have minimum MBBS qualification having Registration under AssamMedical Council 1960. Preference will be given to the candidate having Post Graduate Degree / Diploma in Medicine / Surgery / Pediatrics / O&G / Radiology / Pathology / Anesthesiology.
Selection Procedure:- Selection will be on the basis if the number of applications received is large, the commission may short-list the number of candidates either on the basis of their marks obtained in the qualifying academic examination required for the post in terms od advertisement OR by holding Screening test which will be notified in due course.
Age Relaxation:-The upper age limit is relaxable for the specified categories of candidates as per existing Rules.
