Age Limit:- The age of the candidate should not be less than 21 years and should not be more than 46 years as on 1st January 2015.
Qualification:- Candidate should have possessed Bachelor of Science Degree in Fishery Science (B.F.Sc.) from any of the recognized University / Institutes.
Selection Procedure:- Selection will be on the basis of Career marks and Vice Voce Test.
Age Relaxation:- The upper age limit is relaxable for the following specified categories to the extent indicated below.
i) By 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST communities.
ii) By 3 years for candidates belonging to OBC communities.
iii) By 5 years to candidates who have originally been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period from 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989.
Application Fee:- A candidate is required to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred only). Candidate belonging to Scheduled Caste and Schedule Tribe of Odisha and Physically Handicapped candidates whose disability should not be less than 40 % are exempted from payment of this fee.
How to apply:- Interested and Eligible candidates may apply online through official website www.opsc.gov.in from 11th May 2015 to 11th June 2015. Candidates are required to send the Printout / Hard copy of the filled in Online Application along with copies of required certificates and documents etc. challan copy by Registered Post / Speed post to the special Secretary. Odisha Public Service Commission, 19, Dr. P.K Parija Road, Cuttack-753001 on or before 24th June 2015.
