Business Leaders Vs Business Professors; where does the difference lie?

It is said that teaching, how to run a business successfully,  is easier than actually running a business. A Business Professor or  teacher has some  limitations, he is a person who knows the system and procedure of a business. There are many Business schools and universities that posses high qualified professors or teachers, although most of them are not capable of running a business successfully. Teaching is an easy task than running a business, it is just a  transfer of knowledge or education from one person to other.

There are so many great businessman in India and Mr. Mukesh Ambani is one of them. But he is  neither a professor nor a teacher but he is a strong business leader. Generally a Business professor have  more knowledge than Mr. Ambani. Although having a plenty of knowledge,  the Business professors and  teachers prefers teaching than running a business. A teacher or professor conduct research and teach the students so that they may be good managers or good businessman in near future but why they do not do business themselves.

A  Businessman teaches his business experience to his family especially to his son or daughter or other who has to take care of his wealth and business. He never teaches his staffs but insists  them to work effectively & efficiently. A good school teacher  or professor remains in the school or university with some promotions. But a student becomes a businessman or professional. Some opt teaching as a profession. At business place seniors plays the role of teacher and  they do not teach any thing but asked the staff to do their duty at their best.

The business professors  and the business leaders have different approach, one is provider of education other is the applier. It should not mean that nobody should become teacher. Whom they are teaching are small boy. But there is a need of teachers and professor to teach the people how to do a business.

The  difficult job in a business is selling its goods or services to consumer but from my point of  view the most difficult job is to take some share in the   money or wealth of  the consumers . So business is a situation in which a person parted from his income or wealth to get fulfill his need and requirement. The successful  business leaders have this skill but the professors do not have this skill. A business professor knows the ethical way of doing a business activity and stress on following rules and regulations  but a business leaders uses both ethical & unethical way in its business activities.
