Women of the 21st century

The women of the 21^st century are smart, confident and ambitious too! Most of them seek a life where they are independent and can give their best to their work while balancing with other factors. Today, women around the globe have not only shown that they can not only do what their male counterparts can, but can also do it better than them. They are giving tough competition to them with their impressive skills.

There’s no arena where the women folk hasn’t shown their presence felt, be it sports, showbiz industry, business environment, politics, media, service sector if we name only a few. It is because of the growing desire in them to showcase their innate abilities, skills, and talent which the women in the earlier times were not allowed to do.  Names like Indra Nooyi, Saina Nehwal, Madhuri Dixit, Sunita Williams, Shreya Ghoshal are names to reckon with. These are just a few names out of the growing list of successful women icons. In fact, each woman out there in the common folk to is an icon in herself. She is working hard, struggling, balancing work and household chores and is open to learning new skills. Even women who aren’t as educated as others are trying to become financially independent by becoming entrepreneurs and doing whatever business they can, like starting their own boutiques, lunch services etc.

It is great to see this change in our society which was once only male-dominated. But there are still many unfortunate women who are still caught in a threshold of restrictions, poverty etc but let’s hope that in the next coming years, each woman is empowered to follow her dreams, can showcase her abilities, work for her financial independence and most importantly seek happiness in her life.
