Network Attacks

Network security consists of the measures and policies to prevent and monitor unauthorized access, misuse, modification, or denial of a computer network and resources on a network. It involves authorization of access to data in a network controlled by a central node or administrator. Users are assigned an ID and password or other authenticating information which allow them to access information and programs as per their authority. Network security covers both public and private networks used for transactions and communications.
