Posts and Pages

Posts and Pages

In WordPress, posts and pages are two types of content that can be created and managed through the admin dashboard.

Posts are typically used for blog content or news updates, and they are listed in reverse chronological order on the blog page. Posts can be categorized and tagged, and they can also be assigned to multiple categories.

Pages, on the other hand, are typically used for static content, such as an about page, a contact page, or a services page. Pages are not listed in chronological order like posts and cannot be categorized or tagged.

To create a new post or page in WordPress, you can navigate to the “Posts” or “Pages” section of the admin dashboard, respectively, and click the “Add New” button. This will open a new editor screen where you can enter the content for your post or page, add media, and customize the layout and formatting using various tools and options.

Once you have created your post or page, you can publish it by clicking the “Publish” button. You can also save a post or page as a draft and come back to it later to edit or publish.

Posts and pages are essential components of a WordPress site, and they can be used to create a variety of content, from blog posts and news updates to landing pages and informational content.
