Create and Modify Document Background
In Microsoft Word, you can create and modify the document background by applying a background color, a watermark, or a background image to your document. Here are the steps to create and modify the document background in Word:
Open your Word document and go to the “Design” tab in the ribbon.
Click on the “Page Color” drop-down arrow in the “Page Background” group and select the color you want to apply as the document background.
To add a watermark to the document, click on the “Watermark” drop-down arrow in the “Page Background” group and select a predefined watermark from the list. If you want to create a custom watermark, click on “Custom Watermark” at the bottom of the list, select “Picture Watermark” or “Text Watermark” depending on your preference, and follow the prompts to create your watermark.
To add a background image to the document, click on “Page Color” > “Fill Effects” > “Picture” tab. Then, click on the “Select Picture” button to choose an image from your computer or from a clip art collection. You can also adjust the transparency of the image using the “Transparency” slider.
To modify the document background, follow these steps:
Go to the “Design” tab in the ribbon.
To change the background color, click on the “Page Color” drop-down arrow and select a new color.
To remove the watermark, click on “Watermark” and select “Remove Watermark” at the bottom of the list.
To change the background image, click on “Page Color” > “Fill Effects” > “Picture” tab. Then, click on the “Select Picture” button to choose a new image, or click on “Clip Art” to select a new clip art image.
