The four main steps in risk management are:

Risk Identification: This involves identifying potential risks that may impact the software development process, such as technical, organizational, or environmental risks.

Risk Analysis: This involves assessing the likelihood and impact of each identified risk to prioritize them based on their severity and probability of occurrence.

Risk Mitigation: This involves implementing strategies to minimize or eliminate identified risks, such as modifying the development process, improving communication, or implementing quality control measures.

Risk Monitoring: This involves continuously monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of the risk management strategies implemented to ensure they are adequate in addressing potential risks.
