Qualitative techniques

Qualitative techniques are used in Software Quality Assurance (SQA) to understand and evaluate subjective and non-numerical data related to quality. These techniques focus on the interpretation and analysis of data, rather than statistical measurements. Examples of qualitative techniques used in SQA include interviews, focus groups, surveys, observations, and document reviews. These techniques can help identify and analyze quality issues, assess customer needs and expectations, and evaluate the effectiveness of SQA processes. Qualitative techniques are particularly useful when dealing with complex and multidimensional quality issues that cannot be easily measured quantitatively. However, they can be subjective and require skilled analysts to interpret the data accurately.
