Removing RAM involves same procedure of opening case and discharging static electricity. Then the steps are –
- Locate the memory module that needs to be removed.
- Completely open the holding clips securing the module.
- This forces the module up in the slot and makes it easier to remove.
- Gently pull the memory module upward to remove it from its slot.
