UTP Cabling Pin outs
UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) cabling pinouts refer to the specific arrangement of wires and pins inside the RJ-45 connector at each end of the cable. The pinouts are standardized to ensure that UTP cables can be used with various Ethernet networking technologies and devices.
The pinouts for UTP cables are specified in the TIA/EIA-568 standard, which defines two wiring schemes: T568A and T568B. These wiring schemes define the order of the wire pairs and the position of the pins in the RJ-45 connector.
The T568A wiring scheme uses the following pinouts from left to right in the RJ-45 connector:
White/Green

White/Orange
Blue

Brown
The T568B wiring scheme uses the following pinouts from left to right in the RJ-45 connector:
White/Orange

White/Green

Brown Both wiring schemes are compatible with most Ethernet networking technologies, and either scheme can be used to make UTP cables. However, it is important to use the same wiring scheme on both ends of the cable to ensure that the cable works properly.
