logging synchronous and exec timeout Commands

logging synchronous and exec timeout Commands

The logging synchronous command is used in Cisco IOS to prevent log messages and debug output from disrupting commands that are being typed in the CLI. When enabled, it causes any log messages or debug output to be displayed after the command prompt on a new line, allowing the user to continue typing their command uninterrupted.

The exec-timeout command is used to set a time limit for the duration of an inactive Telnet or SSH session on a router or switch. It takes two arguments: the first specifies the number of minutes of inactivity before the session times out, and the second specifies the number of seconds before the session is automatically disconnected. For example, the command exec-timeout 10 30 would set a timeout of 10 minutes and 30 seconds.
