Installing Routers and Router Interfaces

Unpack the router and power it on: After unpacking the router, connect the power cord to the router and plug it into a power source.

Test connectivity: Verify connectivity between devices on the network by pinging devices from the router and from other devices on the network.
Save the configuration: Save the router configuration to non-volatile memory so that it will persist across reboots.
