Spry Concept

Spry Concept

“Spry” was a set of web technologies and tools created by Adobe to simplify the process of creating dynamic and interactive web pages. It was first introduced in Dreamweaver CS3 and continued to be supported until Dreamweaver CS5.

The Spry framework consisted of a set of JavaScript libraries that provided a range of interactive user interface components, such as drop-down menus, tabbed panels, and accordion widgets. It also included tools for validating forms and connecting to data sources using XML or JSON.

In Dreamweaver CS5, Spry was included as a built-in feature that could be accessed through the Insert menu. Dreamweaver provided a visual interface for adding and configuring Spry widgets, as well as a code editor for making more advanced customizations.

However, since the release of Dreamweaver CS5, Adobe has discontinued the development and support of the Spry framework. Instead, they have recommended the use of other web technologies such as jQuery, AngularJS, and React for creating dynamic and interactive web pages.
