Issue management refers to identifying and resolving the issues that might arise in a project. The issue management team designs a set of procedures which need to be followed when an issue arises. Issue is a situation which arises during the control or execution stage of a project and which was not identified during the planning stage. The issues that may arise need to be resolved or they might hinder the success of the project.
