J & K Combined Competitive Examination 2012: Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has issued notification against recruitment of 65 various vacancies under various services by holding J & K Combined (Preliminary) Competitive Examination 2012. Eligible candidates may apply through prescribed format on or before 15-05-2012. Names of Services:

2. J&K Accounts (G) Service – 22 vacancies

Age Limit: Candidates’ age must be between 21 years to 35 years. Cutoff date for determining age limit would be 01-01-2012. (Age relaxation extended as per government rules).

Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree of a recognized University or any equivalent qualification.

Examination Fee Details: Examination fee of Rs. 800/- for Open Merit/General Category Candidates and Rs. 550/- for SC, ST, RBA, ALC, Social Caste (SOC) and Physically Challenged (PHC) category candidates to be paid in cash through the counters of J&K Bank opened in PSC offices, Jammu/Srinagar.

Selection Procedure: Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of performance of candidates in Competitive Examination followed by Interview.

How to Apply: Candidates seeking admission to the Preliminary Examination can obtain the Application Forms along-with copy of SRO 387 dated 01.12.2008 containing the syllabus for the examination, instructions for filling up of the Application Form, Acknowledgement Card and an Envelope for submitting the Application Forms, from the designated branches of the J&K Bank on cash towards examination fee. After filling up the form, it must be submitted at the same J&K Bank on or before 15-05-2012.

Starting Date for Sale of Application Form: 12-04-2012
Last Date for Receipt of Application: 15-05-2012
Date of Preliminary Examination (in two sessions): 05-08-2012
Date of Commencement of Main Examination: 15-02-2013
